Quadratec Morphic Wheels Review for Jeep Wrangler & Jeep Gladiator

Hey Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're taking a look at our newest addition in our lineup of factory inspired wheels. I've got our brand new Quadratec Morphic here on the table as well as installed on our Gladiator behind me. It's easy to see that we drew some inspiration from a familiar factory wheel for the new Morphic, however we've made some modifications that make this wheel much better suited for running oversized tires on your Wrangler or Gladiator. This is a 17 by 8 and a half inch wheel and that means it is 1 inch wider than its factory counterpart allowing you to easily run up to a 12 and a half inch wide tire on the Morphic. We've also modified the backspacing to 5.2 inches, that's a plus 10 millimeter offset, that not only brings the face of the wheel in giving it that great deep dish look but it also moves the wheel out from the center line of the vehicle to give you the clearance needed for those oversized tires while still keeping as much of the tire tread tucked under the fender flare as we can. The Morphic comes with a 2500 pound load rating and if we turn the wheel around to the back side you'll see on the mounting surface this is a hub-centric wheel that means that the mounting surface of the wheel has been bored out to match the hub diameter on the 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK, the 18 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL as well as the 20 newer Jeep Gladiator JT perfectly and that not only is going to ensure that every time you're mounting your wheel up on your vehicle it's going to install easily and centered right the first time but it's also going to help to transfer the load of your vehicle down through the hub and into the wheel rather than simply relying on those lug studs to carry the weight of your vehicle. Speaking of those lugs the lug pockets on the Morphic have been designed to accommodate the larger size lug nuts found on the newer Wrangler JLs and Gladiator JTs and that means you can easily reuse your factory lug nuts when installing these on your vehicle or you can change up the look by swapping them for a set of Quadratec spline drive lug nuts or maybe even a set of black classic acorn lug nuts like I have installed on the Gladiator behind me. The Morphic is available in three different finishes. Of course we've got our gunmetal finish here that looks fantastic on any color Wrangler or Gladiator. Next up we've got a satin black version of the Morphic for you for that great dark look and finally one of my personal favorites down on the end there is our satin black with a machined face. I really love the high contrast between the dark satin black inside of the barrel and the recesses on the face of the wheel with that bright machined face it really makes that wheel pop. Finally all of our Morphic wheels do come with a color matched center cap however they are compatible and you can easily swap in a set of Jeep logo center caps to give your Morphic wheels that final factory looking finishing touch.
