Overland Outfitters MOLLE Tailgate Panels and Grab & GO Storage Bags for Jeep Wrangler

hey Rob here for Quadratec.com today we're checking out the Overland Outfitters tailgate molly panels as well as their lineup of grab-and-go bags for the Jeep Wrangler Overland Outfitters produces a variety of different types of soft goods for both the Wrangler and the gladiator that have been designed to keep the interior of your Jeep organized so you'll always know right where to find all of your gear one of the things i really like about everything from Overland Outfitters is the high quality look and feel that you'll find in all of their products once you start handling them it's easy to recognize they're using nothing but the highest quality materials in all of their products and not only does that mean that they're going to look great inside of your Jeep giving you a very luxurious and rich feel but they're also going to perform really well and last for a very long time they're using a very durable military grade canvas that's then finished off with genuine leather accents and trim as well as antique brass rivets and buckles they're available in your choice of either the black canvas with brown leather accents and trim or a light tan canvas again with those brown leather accents and trim their tailgate MOLLE panel is available for both the 07 to 18 Jeep Wrangler JK as well as the 18 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL if you're going to be attaching the JK version of the tailgate MOLLE panel in your Jeep it's simply install with the provided screws and clips that pop right into the existing vents found on the inside of your JK Wrangler tailgate now for the JL Wrangler there is some minor drilling required the tailgate MOLLE panel attaches with 10 of the provided screws five on top and five on the bottom that screw right into the plastic panel found on the inside of your tailgate now once installed you can see it really looks like it was meant to be there right from the factory you're going to get three rows of the leather MOLLE attachment points there on the panel and of course you can use it with any of your existing MOLLE pouches or bags but of course you can outfit it with anyone on the line of Overland Outfitters grabbing go bags they're available in your choice of either the smaller six inch size or the larger 12 inch size now the larger size as i mentioned does feature two of those brass buckles if we open the top you'll see we're going to get two large pockets on the front two smaller on the side and one main large zippered pocket if we close that back up we can take a look at the smaller version the six inch version of the grab and go bag this time we're going to get one pocket underneath of that flap still one pocket on each side and again one large main zippered pocket to help keep all of your items organized inside of the bag now what gives the grab-and-go bags their name is the way they quickly and easily attach right to the tailgate MOLLE panel you'll simply line it up and slide it right into place securing it to the panel when you need the bag well grab the handle lift up and pull it right off that's because they're utilizing a heavy duty belt clip style attachment on the back side of the grab and go bags the six inch bag uses a single clip found on the back side the larger 12-inch version of the bags is going to use two of those belt clip style attachment points on the back side again you can see here is an example of that tan canvas with the brown leather now there's also a six inch version of the grab-and-go bag for a first aid pouch this is going to come in a nice bright red canvas with the first aid logo on there when we open this up now we're going to get one large zippered pocket that opens to reveal a couple small zippered pockets on the inside we also get a series of elastic straps sewn in that are going to be a very convenient place to store small bandages maybe tweezers and scissors we're going to find large flaps that open where we can lay some larger gauze pad behind we also have some larger pockets back there so you're going to get a variety of different types of storage inside of that first aid bag for all the different pieces of first aid you might carry with you and again just like with that six inch grab-and-go bag we're gonna find that heavy duty belt clip style attachment on the back which makes it really easy to simply drop right onto that tailgate MOLLE panel and as is usually the case when you need a first aid bag well every second can count so being able to simply grab that bag and pull it right off of that tailgate MOLLE panel can really make this an invaluable piece of equipment to keep inside your Jeep now in addition to using the tailgate MOLLE panel you can also store the six inch version of the grab-and-go bags conveniently on the back of the headrest in your Jeep using the Overland Outfitters headrest MOLLE panels now those are available for both the 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK as well as the 18 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL and they simply wrap right around your head rest and secure in place with some hook and loop fasteners they are pretty snug fit which means they may not be compatible if you have a seat cover installed on top of your
