Mopar Tube Doors & Tube Door Covers for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT

hey Rob here for Quadratec.com today we're checking out the Mopar tube doors available for the 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL as well as the 20 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT they are available in front pair only for you two-door Wrangler owners or you can get a complete set that includes your rear doors as well for you four-door Wrangler owners or you Gladiator owners out there and as you can see i currently have the optional Mopar tube door covers that are available separately installed on the tube doors giving them the look and feel almost of having a half door installed on your Wrangler or Gladiator of course at a fraction of the cost of getting a true set of Mopar half doors and uppers from the factory the other nice thing about having these door covers installed on your tube doors they do give you a little bit of an extra visual barrier of having a physical door installed on your Jeep over the more traditional open feel of a tube door they're stitched from vinyl and a mesh material and they also provide you some molle webbing on the inside of the door that allows you to attach some small gear bags when you have them installed i really like how quickly and easily Mopar has made these door covers so that you can install and remove them to quickly change up the look and feel of your two doors they're simply held in place with some hook and loop fastener up front and then a zipper that runs along the bottom once we open that up we can simply pull the cover right off around the handle and it's as simple as that to change up the look and feel and go from a more enclosed door to a classic and traditional open feeling of a tube door a Mopar constructs these tube doors from two inch diameter tube work that's then finished off in a slightly textured powder coat that's not only going to look great stand up the elements but it's going to match a lot of the other finishes you're going to find in and around your Wrangler or your Gladiator Mopar is also using a factory door hinge on these to give them a very oe look and feel it is capable of reusing those door pin retaining nuts on there as well to give you the security of knowing that your tube door is not going to pop off when you're opening or closing your door one of my favorite features here on the Mopar tube doors is the door latch here it's actually a red eject handle i love that Mopar is putting a little bit of humor here in their open feeling of their tube doors of course when you open that door up we do have a check strap that slips around the factory hook here in your kick panel area and at the other end on the inside of the tube work here we've got a nice little retaining pin where you'll simply feed that strap underneath the pin first and then open the loop and push it around that retaining pin that's going to make sure that that strap stays securely attached to the inside of your tube door so that you don't accidentally over extend that door when you're opening it up and finally of course we do have a nice rubber bumper on the inside of the tube door here so that we get a nice secure closure of that door when we close it and of course a nice rattle-free design when we're driving down the road or the trail now if you guys want to get more information or to purchase a set of Mopar tube doors or the door covers to go along with them you can click that info button to head over to quadratec.com of course you have any comments or questions about the doors or how to get them installed you can always leave those for me down in the comments section below or contact us directly at any of the options on the screen and if you haven't already and you like these videos make sure you go ahead and give me a thumbs up don't forget to hit that subscribe button as well as the notification icon so be sure to catch all of our latest videos until next time i'm Rob i'll see you guys out on the trail
