Hey, Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're gonna be showing you how to install the Mopar all-weather floor mats in our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Now if you want to check out a full and detailed review on the floor mats you can click the info button to check out the video that we did and one of the features that we talked about in that video of course is how Mopar has integrated this drain right in the floor mat to work with the drain in the floor pan of the Wrangler. So we're gonna be showing you what you need to do to get these installed. Now first we're gonna go ahead and remove the carpeted floor mat that came with our Wrangler. Set that aside and if you feel in the carpet just to the right of the carpet anchor here you'll notice there's a little flap you can lift up on and then you've got two little bits of carpet you have to slice with the utility knife. Set that aside, go ahead and remove the drain plug in the floor pan. Slip the all-weather floor mat in place and lock in the carpet anchors. Now you just want to go ahead and seat the funnel into the hole in the floor pan, then you can replace the plug you took out of the floor pan right there into the funnel in the floor mat and it's just that easy to get your driver's side floor mat installed. Now the passenger side installs just the same so we're gonna go ahead and take care of that and then we can get the rears installed. Now in the rear the install is pretty easy. There's no drain holes we need to worry about. We simply went ahead and pushed our driver and passenger seats all the way forward so we can access all of our carpet anchors in the back. We're gonna go ahead and remove the carpeted floor mats first by unsnapping them and now we can install the all-weather floor liner by leaning it up against the passenger seat first, sliding it back over the supports for the rear seat and then locking in the carpet anchor. The one in the front. Grab the driver's side, as you can see the rear liners are a two piece liner so once we get the driver side situated here and snapped in, now the two halves interlock together with two tabs and a couple buttons here and that's just gonna make it easier to get these liners out when you need to clean them. That pretty much takes care of the install of our all-weather floor mats but I'm sure you guys are like me and there's one more thing I want to check out. You want to see just how well that drain plug up front works. Now whether your plan is to use those integrated drain holes in the floor mats to make the job of cleaning up your mats after jumping in and out of your Jeep with maybe mud or dirt on your boots easier or if you just got them there for some insurance for the occasional spilled coffee in the morning, let's find out just how well they work. As you can see that topographic map pattern even helps channel some of the water right towards the drain hole. Overall, I'm pretty impressed.
