MasterTop Bimini Top Plus & Windstopper Combo for Jeep Gladiator JT

Hey Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're checking out the MasterTop Bimini Top Plus and available Rear Wind Stopper for the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT. This combo is available in your choice of two different fabric options. You can choose from the 25 ounce black diamond sail cloth material or MasterTop's exclusive 30 ounce three layer luxury Master Twill fabric, a perfect match to the twill fabric options from the factory. It's going to be a great option for you especially if you've got that twill bed cover installed on your Gladiator. Now both the bimini top plus and the rear wind stopper have been designed to be a very easy install on your Gladiator requiring no drilling or modification to your Jeep to get them installed. It simply uses a series of straps along with some buckles and some of the factory fasteners that hold the plastic trim to your sport bar to secure the bimini top plus and wind stopper to your factory roll bar. It has been designed to be compatible with both soft top or hardtop equipped Gladiators. Of course you will need to completely remove your top from your Jeep before installing the bimini top plus and wind stopper combo. Now if you do have a soft top equipped Gladiator that does mean that you will need to completely remove not only the top but also all of the attachment points including your door surrounds and this rear bracket here that attaches to the top of the body tub to help secure your rear window before you can install the top and the wind stopper and when it comes time to reinstall your factory top you will need to remove the bimini top plus and the wind stopper completely from the Gladiator before you can complete that re-installation on your Jeep. The bimini top plus is available standalone to provide you your passengers and your interior some excellent protection from the sun's harmful uv rays however you can add another layer of protection and function to the top by adding the rear wind stopper to help cut down on that turbulent airflow that's going to come back in from the rear of the cabin of your Jeep when you're driving down the road and with those two combined you're going to get excellent protection while still maintaining that very open-air feeling that we know and love that you can only get with a Gladiator, especially if you've got your doors removed from your Jeep. There’s also an added benefit with the bimini top plus and wind stopper they're also going to provide you with an added layer of protection from the elements when those occasional summer showers pop up. There's even a rubber seal at the front edge of the top to help prevent any debris or water from entering at the front edge between the top and the windshield and then all of the materials used to construct the bimini top plus and wind stopper are going to be 100 percent waterproof. Now with that said it is not a perfectly waterproof solution once installed on your Jeep it's because of course it does attach to the sport bar of your Gladiator and by doing so even when we reinstall or close the doors on the Jeep there is still going to be some gaps between the door and the bimini top plus where some moisture could enter the cab of your vehicle. Again with that being said it is still going to do a very good job at protecting you from those occasional summertime showers that pop up keeping you, your passengers and your interior drier than it would be without any top installed on your Jeep at all. It also still provides you with that great open air feeling and if you want to get a little additional airflow even with that rear wind stopper installed well it does feature a zip down rear window. You can simply fold down your rear seat zip down and fold that window inside the cab of your Gladiator and then flip your back seat back into place to allow some additional airflow through your Jeep without having to completely remove that wind stopper from your Jeep first.
