Fab Fours Stubby Front Bumper for Jeep Wrangler & Jeep Gladiator

Hey Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're taking a look at the Fab Fours stubby front bumper for the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator. Of course this bumper is compatible with the 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL as well as the 2020 newer Jeep Gladiator JT it's also available to fit the 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. This stubby bumper features Fab Fours characteristic knife edge styling and its great compact narrow width that matches the Jeep grille perfectly. That means we're going to get plenty of clearance for oversized tires and great approach angles when we're out on the trail. Fab Fours manufactures not only their stubby bumper but all of their products proudly right here 100 percent in the USA. Their stubby bumper is constructed from heavy-duty 3/16-inch US plate steel and it's available with your choice of either the pre-runner grille guard or without the hoop on the bumper and in your choice of either a bare steel finish or as you can see here a slightly textured satin black powder coat finish with an epoxy primer to keep it not only looking great but protected from corrosion. The stubby front bumper is a winch ready bumper and I really like that Fab Fours is utilizing a separate fairlead mounting plate that means the bumper is going to look just as good with or without a winch installed on top of it. I also really like that you can install the bumper first to your Jeep and then install your winch on top of the bumper separately that's really going to save your back from having to lift everything already assembled up as one unit. Installing the bumper onto your Jeep is easy, it's a simple one piece design that features pre-installed mounting studs and it mounts to all the factory locations. When you are installing a winch on your Jeep you'll simply place that fairlead mounting plate down first set your winch down on top of it and then bolt it into place. Down below the winch you'll see we've got a great Fab Fours logo right in the center of the bumper we also have two mounting holes on each side of that logo, those are there for a front license plate so if your state does require the use of a front license plate on your vehicle you've already got the mounting provisions for it there in the bumper. Just outside of that you'll see this bumper is also set up to accept some fog lights. I really like that Fab Fours is using two different style mounting brackets on the back side of the bumper to allow you to reuse your factory fog lights or an aftermarket fog light that uses a factory style mounting pattern or alternatively you could also choose to use a set of 3 inch standard style cube lights. Just outside of that we get two heavy duty recovery points on this bumper that extend up to give us two recovery hooks that make it easy to quickly attach a tow strap and then down below they're set up to accept a 3/4 inch d-ring or bow style shackle with a 7/8 inch shackle pin. In addition to those two recovery points Fab Fours also gives us two high lift jacking points, one on each outside of the bumper.
