Dee Zee Tailgate Board Install & Review for Jeep Gladiator JT

hey Rob here for Quadratec.com you know whether you're simply hanging out with some friends maybe tailgating at your favorite sporting event or maybe camping for a long weekend whenever you find yourself here around the back of your gladiator while your tailgate naturally and very comfortably becomes the perfect countertop or work surface now jeep does give us two convenient little circles here to set down our drinks but you know what if you're having fun having a conversation with your friends really not paying attention well it can be really easy to accidentally spill your drink well we can eliminate that and do a whole lot of other things by installing the DeeZee tailgate board right here on the inside of your tailgate you can see once it's installed it gives us a perfectly smooth and flat surface that covers virtually the entire interior surface of your gladiator's tailgate the DeeZee tailgate board is proudly made right here in the USA from a high density polyethylene material now that material happens to be the same material that most of your cutting boards that you'll already find in your kitchen are made out of which means it's not only well a great flat surface to set down your cup but it's the perfect place to prepare your next meal so imagine you're out camping you've got your camp stove set up on one side of the tailgate well you can be prepping your breakfast lunch or dinner right here on the other side of your gladiator's tailgate when it comes time to clean it up well you can simply wipe it down because it is made of that HDPE material it's not only going to be uv resistant but it's also going to be highly weather resistant as well which means it's going to stand up to the elements here in the back of your truck and last the lifetime of your gladiator that HDPE material is also highly impact resistant which means you're not going to have to worry about accidentally setting something really heavy down here on your tailgate or maybe even using it as a work surface when you're completing a trailside repair or even something heavy sliding around in the bed of your gladiator and hitting that tailgate board when you're driving down the road in fact it's going to add an extra layer of protection here to your tailgate now getting it installed is a very easy process in fact there's no drilling or modification required simply need to set it out of the way and we can start by removing the eight t30 torx fasteners that hold on this access panel here on the inside of the tailgate now once we have those fasteners removed we can go ahead and set the tailgate board back in place lining it up with the existing factory holes then we can go ahead and secure it with the new provided hardware now you'll notice I'm not using a power tool or driver to run these fasteners in because we only need to really go ahead and snug them down we don't want to over tighten them we could potentially damage the tailgate board you can see it's just that easy to get the DeeZee tailgate board installed on the inside of your gladiator's tailgate and because it's using those existing fastening locations here for that access panel well it's perfectly compatible for your gladiator whether or not it is equipped with or without a spray in bed liner if you want to get more information or to purchase a DeeZee tailgate board for your jeep gladiator you can click that info button to head over to quadratec.com of course you have any comments or questions about the tailgate board or how to get it installed you can always leave those for me down in the comments section below or contact us directly at any of the options on the screen and if you haven't already and you like these videos do me a huge favor make sure you hit that thumbs up button don't forget to hit that subscribe button as well as the notification icon so be sure to catch all of our latest videos until next time I'm Rob I'll see you guys on the trail
