SEMA 2022
5,200 miles, 17 days, 18 states, two Jeeps, one show and then Moab, Utah
Torque Managing Editor Matthew Konkle and Staff Writer Terry Pritchard are hitching a few Jeeps to the company trailer and heading out West on Wednesday, October 26th to attend this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. Along the way, they'll have live Facebook and Instagram check-ins from the road each day starting Thursday the 27th around 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST, and then from the SEMA floor at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. EST. Daily content updates from SEMA, photos, interviews and then a final stop in Moab before returning home.
The duo's travel route includes I-81 through Virginia and into Tennessee, before merging with I-40 through Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. At Kingman, Arizona, the trip takes a turn northwest on US 93 to I-11 and into Las Vegas. Travel stops include State and National Parks since the pair is carrying a special concept Jeep to SEMA, as well as some time on the iconic Route 66 as a historical window into our automotive traveling past.
So check back often for daily updates and tune in during live sessions for interactive Jeep, travel and 'whatever else happens' content.
