Even though football - and a little chill - were in the air Sunday, we still had a great turn out for the September Jeeps & Java at our West Chester, Pa. headquarters. There were some nice old school flat fender Jeeps in attendance, as well as a mix of CJ, TJ, JK, XJ and the like. Some modified and some stock. Several even rolled in topless or just sporting a bimini top despite the early morning chill. It never ceases to amaze us how many dedicated, great Jeep owners are out there, and we are definitely appreciative of everyone spending a few hours with us. If you are in the area and love Jeeps, you should definitely come out for one of these gatherings. Not only do you get to see all these great vehicles, but most have modifications and their owners are always happy to talk about their builds. It is also a nice way to help the community as well by supporting one of the following area organizations:
- Shriners Children's Hospitals of Philadelphia
- The Michael Strange Foundation - Voices for Silent Heroes (Benefits families of military service men & women)
- Kodi's Club Rescue (Club/Rescue)
- Canned Food Drive - 93.3 WMMR's Preston & Steve's Camp Out for Hunger
Our next Jeeps & Java event is headed on the road and is set for October 15 at Spruce Grove Tree Farm in Oxford, PA. There will be pumpkin picking available at this one, as well as our usual spread of doughnuts, coffee and the like. Plus, there may be a few other surprises as well. Stay tuned.
