Backed by some unbelievable weather for early October, our 12th Annual Tent Show once again surpassed all expectations as thousands Saturday descended on our West Chester, Pa. location for a day of fun and excitement.
From new product discounts, unreal scratch and dent deals, to plenty of manufacturers reps willing to answer questions and provide advice, there really was really a bit of everything out there Saturday for those who attended.
In years past, either rain or colder temperatures at our show reminded everyone that summer was over. While that never dampened the spirits of show-goers, it was sad nonetheless to see so many great Jeeps have to cover up with soft tops, hardtops and leave doors on the vehicle.
Saturday's weather soared past 80 degrees under a sunny sky, which was certainly a welcome reminder of summer and something everyone took to heart. Many Jeeps arrived in summer 'clothes' which meant no tops or doors, and nearly everyone wore shorts and t-shirts in order to enjoy the day.
Besides all the sale products and vendor booths, show attendees also took advantage of plenty of family-friendly entertainment such as pumpkin painting, bounce houses, and were able to have their picture taken on a Quadratec catalog cover. Some even got an inside look at how we produce our videos and were able to record a special YouTube Tent Sale broadcast.
And then there was our show raffle. Or raffles, really, as prizes were spread out for three separate drawing times during the day. Between all the great products, including many generously donated by our fantastic vendors, we raised a record amount during the raffle and all proceeds were donated to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
So a warm thank you to everyone who took some time Saturday to visit us. Thanks, as well, to so many vendors who offered great advice and made sure people walked away with exactly what they wanted for their Jeep.
