The sixth annual Trail Hero event recently took over Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah, and featured five days of guided off-road trails for all skill levels, special themed days, nighttime entertainment as well as afternoon activities designed as more formidable tests of participants abilities.
The event, held October 4-10, also provided exclusive trail-ride access to special needs children and veterans who may not normally have a chance to experience the outdoor off-road environment, along with kid-friendly game in the vendor village and a Sunday trail cleanup.
Some of the other showcase experiences at Trail Hero include a high speed Rock Race, an expansive vendor show that features charitable raffles, live music, onsite catering, Jeep show, and expo featuring many of the best vendors from around the country. Among those in attendance this year included Rock Slide Engineering, Optima Battery, BFGoodrich, Yukon Gear and Axle, Fuel Offroad, Synergy, Fab Fours, Skyjacker, Teraflex, PSC Steering, and Icon Vehicle Dynamics.
Sand Hollow State Park consists of 20,000 acres —15,000 of which are picturesque sand dunes. It is one of Utah's largest and most popular state parks and is just three miles from Hurricane.
