Jeep lovers from as far away as California and Washington converged on Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area this past weekend (May 3-5) for the third Coal Mountain Jeep Jamboree. Actually, this is the seventh year JJUSA has used the AOAA location for one of its Jamboree events, with the past three years offering two dates (May and August) because of the venue's popularity. Event participants go through a vehicle tech inspection and then are able to sign up for two trail groups (one per day) that can be easy or hard - whatever participants feel like doing. Breakfast and dinner are provided each day, as well as a boxed lunch to take on the trail. For this Coal Mountain Jamboree, 92 Jeeps were registered and 176 participants attended.
Jeep Jamboree USA events run from March through November at locations all around the country, including an October Moab adventure that one luck winner will attend thanks to Quadratec's Ultimate Fly & Drive Jeep Jamboree Giveaway.
Quadratec is proud to be a JJUSA sponsor and for more information, as well as a list of required and recommended equipment for these events, check out our Jeep Jamboree page.
