April showers might bring May flowers, but we prefer the saying 'March rain clouds bring Jeep crowds'. Well, at least that is our version as Quadratec kicked off its 2019 Jeeps and Java schedule Sunday at the company's West Chester, Pa. headquarters.
For those not in the know, Jeeps and Java is a monthly gathering that brings together Jeep lovers from throughout the region for a Sunday morning of shop talk, build comparisons, product reviews, Jeep watching, raffles and games. Oh, not to mention free doughnuts and coffee. As far as the size and scope of this event, there really isn't much like it around the Philadelphia region.
Overall, Sunday's kickoff event brought out nearly 200 Jeeps of all makes and models - no Gladiator's yet - despite the chilly temperature and misty rain.
Of course, there were games to be played, raffle prize giveaways too and our canned food collection once again kicked off for WMMR's Camp Out For Hunger later this year. Those in attendance also could elect to donate and help our event partners Shriners Hospitals For Children, Providence Animal Center and The Michael Strange Foundation - Voices For Silent Children.
Quadratec's next Jeeps and Java is set for Sunday, April 7 - once again at its West Chester, Pa. headquarters.
