Pretty much a show within a show, the Bantam Heritage Jeep Festival is part vendor-powered, part playground, part games, part sightseeing — and all fun.

Slippery Rock, Pa. — You had the vendors. The games. And then there was the playground with its rocky outcroppings and muddy pits, enticing Jeep owners of all skill levels to try its offerings.
Of course, there were plenty of other things to do June 9-11 during the 12th annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival at Coopers Lake Campground.
This year, that included numerous authors and historians who held court inside the Jeep Historical Exhibit. Talking about trips overseas, Jeep-approved parts through the ages, older vehicles, and even a presentation on the Sand Ship Discovery Jeep that holds a Guinness World Record for the first land crossing of Darien Gap.
A lot of history, trail rides, Jeep safari run, Jeep ‘n Seek scavenger hunt, the Butler Invasion.
And plenty, plenty of Jeeps of all kinds.
Yup, organizers made sure everyone who attended Bantam had a ton to see and do during all three days.
Through it all, we were there for everything from the opening bell Friday morning through end of day Sunday — talking with customers, showing off products like our Gladiator Truck Bed Tent and Res-Q Recovery line, as well as handing out Quadratec-branded ducks and other giveaway items.
While it is nearly impossible to display the entire scope of Bantam’s three days at the campground, we spent a lot of time taking in the sights.
