WheelersLLC celebrated the start of 2018 with 86 close friends by running trails on December 31st, 2017 and January 1st, 2018 at Rausch Creek and AOAA for the 2nd annual Wheelers Day. Participants could choose from different level runs on Sunday at Rausch Creek, or they could just trail ride with friends. Monday saw the group have Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area all to themselves as they were able to 'ring' in the new year on many of the park's challenging trails. In between, they gathered at nearby Hampton Inn Sunday night for a New Year's Eve celebration.
"It was certainly great to have such an amazing group of people come together to enjoy ending the old year and beginning the new on the trails," said WheelersLLC owner Mike Kelly. "The vehicles everyone brought were just as diverse as the crowd, and the freezing cold weather with ice and snow certainly made trails a different challenge than on warmer days."
"A special thanks to Quadratec, Offroad Consulting, World Tour Offroad, and Main Line Overland who sponsored the event, as well as Globex Performance, Princeton Tec, Mount Zion Offroad, A to Z Fabrication, Hyline Offroad, AOAA, ARB, Ridgeback Guide Services, The Lost Moose Company and Wine About It, who were supporters."
Next up for Wheelers LLC is their signature event - the Wheelers Overland Adventure from May 17-20 at AOAA. To register, or for more info, check out the Wheelers LLC site.
