Hello Qaudratec!
Here are a few photos of my '99 TJ se, should you care to post them in your reader rigs section. When I purchased it used two years ago it was totally stock, save for a bra which I immediately discarded as I wanted it to be a boy Jeep.
With the help of the staff at qudratec, a few good books, and some internet forums, I've modified it to suit our needs which, in a nutshell, is to get to where we like to go without getting stuck.
Here is a partial list of what we've done so far; A whole slew of different bumpers, front and rear, finally deciding on a Smitty Built classic SRC front bumper with winch plate and a Warn 8000 winch for the front and a Rugged Ridge 2" hitch receiver package in the rear with no bumper. We added a 2" Rubicon Suspension lift and a 1.25" JKS body lift with a JKS 1" engine lift. We then stuffed the wheel wells with Mickey Thompson 33 x 10.5 Baja MTZ tires mounted on 16 x 8 M/T Classic II's in black. We then cleaned things up with a new Best top soft top with tinted windows and a bikini top paired with all new sport bar covers, seat covers and some grab handles. A couple of 3.5" Warn driving lamps, a Lange "The Rack" canoe rack up front with a custom built rack in the rear and we were almost ready to roll. For sound we added a Quadratec exclusive i vault with Sony Head unit, Kicker dash speaker exact replacements, a 10" Kicker Sub in a custum enclosure driven by a Kenwood 350 watt amp and we were sounding as good as we looked. We modified the dash a bit to add some extra switches and power points for our phones, gps, i-pods, and lighting. We mounted a 48" hi- lift jack in the back using one of the old rear seat mounts and strapped down a bag of assorted blocks, straps, and chains. I think we've got a nice rig for how we use it, it's a little squirrly on the hard but still capable for extended road trips.
