I own a 98 XJ Cherokee sport 4 door bone stock and optionless. This vehicle was a state fleet vehicle that had 110,000 miles on it and a complete service record history which I purchased for $4150 cash. This vehicle with bald road tires on it came offroad ready from the gate but stock soon became history.I started with a 2" Rubicon express lift and a set of 30" bfg mud terrains,a Warn x9000lb winch on a Warn 2" receiver plate,a 2" receiver hitch on front and back,a complete Prothane bushing set for front and back,a red top Optima,a sweet sound system w/12" sub(radar detecter, gps unit w/window mount,a psp mount for movies, acamcorder and digital camera dashboard mounts to catch all the action, and 2 inverters). In the engine I put in a K@N air filter and a JET performance chip were added for more performance.Just recently I installed a new one piece, axle shaft in front axle,a new sterring stabalizer shock and beefed up track bar.I also swapped my dana 35 for a dana 44 that was in a 87 w/tow package cherokee that I came across. We call my XJ old trusty as she always seems to get us home somehow, thats more than I can say about my 2004 Dodge Dakota on m/ts that sits in my driveway with a blown front dif and only 28000 mile on it.My XJ has 165,000 and still strong as ever.
