This is my most recent project, a 1998 TJ Sport with a 5spd. Its my 3rd Wrangler, and probably not the last.
I bought it in October of 2006 with a 3" body lift and 31" street tires on some hideous wheels.? The 2 previous owners/drivers were high school girls, so the poor Jeep was a sad sight, but I had big plans for it.
Within a few weeks of ownership I had swapped out the 3" body lift for a 1" daystar body lift, then I added a 4" Superlift suspension with Bilstien 5100 shocks. I got rid of the old wheels and street tires for some 33x10.50 BFG MT's on black steel wheels. I've got new skid plates and sliders on order and I'm working on building some new bumpers. I'm also putting some money aside to swap in a D44 front and D60 rear with 4.88's and ARB air lockers....shhhh, don't tell my wife.
