My name is Chris M., I live in Saint Albans, West Virginia.
I have a 1992 XJ that I have been building for 7 years now. It has a 4.5 inch lift from Rusty's Offroad with adjustable upper and lower control arms. 32 x 11.50 Swamper tsl sx's on American Racing Diamond lock rims. It has a fresh 4.0 liter with a throttle body spacer, and MSD 6 offroad ignition box and coil. I am upgrading to 24 lb injectors and roller rockers. A SYE kit with Tom Woods driveshaft strengthens the drivetrain. Plans are in place for 4.10 gears and dual ARB lockers for the front high pinion D30 and rear 8.25 axle, along with 29 spline axle shafts for the rear. The stock 4 speed auto has held up great to the mud racing with 144000 miles and counting. A custom roof rack with a winch lift for the spare tire and air operated pivot for the light bar is being built right now. I have a custom exhaust and muffler with plans for a turbocharger later. A disk brake conversion for the rear axle was installed using the parts from a 93 ZJ rear axle...very easy and very well worth it. I love the way it is turning out and performs great!
