Hey there, thanks for the post. This is my 1983 CJ-7 Renegade hardtop that I bought cherry stock in 2001. The engine is the stock 258ci with a 5 speed manual trans. So far I've got a 4" BDS suspension lift, 456 gears, 1 piece rear axle conversion kit, greasable shackles, Bestop fender flares, neoprene seat covers, steel 15x10 wagon wheels, and 35" BFG mud terrain tires. Not much articulation with the old school leafs so rubbing while crawling isn't a problem with only a 4" lift. My plans this year (with a kitchen pass from my wife of course) is a winch, rear bumper tire carrier, cb radio, and custom rhino lined neft bars that I'm picking up this week. Springtime in the Rockies so time to take the top off!
