I bought my CJ5 in February 2012. I am in the process of getting it going again. Headlights worked but that's about it for lights. The 304 ci engine was sucking oil through #6 cylinder so I have pulled the heads, intake manifold. Heads and manifold are all good, so new gaskets, plugs, and oil and filter.
Have redone most of the wiring, under dash and all lights. Next is new gas tank the works for that. New fuel lines etc. In another year or so I will do a frame off on it. This is my first Jeep. I love it.
