I purchased my 1978 CJ-5 brand new...30 years ago this month. In the past few years, my daughters began driving, so my CJ is my
daily driver again.
It has the original 258 with T-150 three speed and I drive the crap out of it. Always have. Only 156,400 miles and it cruises at 70mph like a dream! The new tires, exhaust and radiator were purchased locally, but everything else came from Quadratec.
