I own a 1978 CJ-5. Not sure of the model. It doesn't have an opening tailgate. My father Jim bought the Jeep from a farmer in Southern CA about 8 years ago. It was in great shape to start with. Only 45K original miles on the inline 6 motor. Since purchasing the Jeep we have done quite a few upgrages, all from the Quadratec Catalog.
