I have owned this jeep since 2003. Since then I have disassembled it down to the frame, fixed all the body work and painted it. The PPG base coat color is a custom mixed 2000 Toyota Royal Sapphire Blue Metallic with the Duponts' Crystal Blue Pearl added into it. Topped the color off with 5 coats of PPG's 2021 clear coat. I transplanted a rebuilt '69 Corvette 327ci, 375HP engine. I'm using a 400AT with a B&M ratchet shifter and Dana model 20 transfercase. I custom built a high pinion Dana 44 rear end, and in the front is a model30, 4.10 gears, 35" BFG's. It has leafspring over axle suspension and reversed shackle mounted front end. The frame has been boxed in(welded). The (hard) top was custom made to look like a soft top.
I purchased many accessories and parts, especially the Kentrol Stainless from Quadratec through out this CJ project.
