I upgraded from a 1970 CJ5 to a 2007 JK Rubicon - not a bad choice... My mods (so far) are a Superlift 4 inch lift, Series 397 soft 8 wheels, and 35x12.50R17LT Dick Cepek Mud Country tires. Everything works well out on the trail, but I want some steel on the front, middle, and back. Future mods will be Pure Jeep bumpers and rocker guards, Riddler differential covers, and a Warn Power Plant Dual Force 9,500 Lb winch.
