Battery master switches allow interruption of the main battery cable for effective protection against unauthorized use of accessories. Positive or negative cable can be switched off as required. Really happy about this product. Can mount virtually anywhere; solid key turn mechanism. I like the confidence of knowing the battery is disconnected; I’ve been so disappointed in the past trying start jeep after sitting. Couple that with the added security measure and it’s one of the better things you can do for peace of mind
