Rugged Ridge Crystal H2 Headlight Conversion Reviews
Terrific light pattern and much improved brightness.
Installation was a little difficult as the housings on my 1994 YJ had to be cut back in order for this assembly to fit properly. It is deeper than a stock bulb and requires modification of the rear metal.
Not horrible, however, it does not just fit in replacement of the stock bulb.
After about 6 months, I found that the polycarbonate face is not nearly as durable as I figured it would be in comparison to glass. I took a tiny pebble to it and it is cracked and has a "bb" hole in it.
With a normal bulb, I wouldn't mind.. however.. it would seems to the only way to replace the lens now is to purchase a new pair.
I am not particularly interested in paying $110. to replace a clear plastic lens.
I'm not sure if I would recommend these or not at this point due to the relative cost/replacement value.
