The classic is here, and with new and improved powder-coated finish that both looks better, and makes the jack more corrosion-resistant. The Hi-Lift® Jack Hood Mount brackets simply install into the existing hood hinge holes making installation quick and painless. Made with anodized aluminum for strength, durability & a clean look. The Locking Knob is a must have for any Hi-Lift manufactured Jack Mounting Kit owner. The Locking Knob replaces an existing knob or wing nut provided on Hi-Lift Jack Mounting Kits. Once tightened, the Locking Knob can be locked with provided key. Once locked, the Locking Knob spins freely and cannot be removed, securing the Hi-Lift Jack. The Hood Mount Locking Knob is made for use with Hi-Lift (Jeep Wrangler) Hood Mounts.

Love this kit. Haven’t had to use the jack and probably won’t any time soon, but the mount is very secure and stable. Zero movement at highway speeds. The only thing they could improve is the directions. They are extremely vague and do a poor job explaining what goes where. The mount is pretty simple but just a diagram would make things much easier. I found a helpful video on YouTube for the install. I submitted a picture showing how the mount is constructed so hopefully that helps others who wish to purchase. With that said, still 5 out of 5 for me.
