Description
RockJock tow bar mounting plate for all models of 2007 and up Jeep JK Wranglers includes the bolt on plate that replaces the stock plastic valance panel, tow bar attaching forks, and all necessary hardware. Finished in semi-gloss black powder coat. See CE-9033F for the RockJock tow bar for use with this item or the Tow Bar System for a complete kit.

Installation Difficulty:
Level 2Intermediate- 2010 and up JK's require some minor trimming to the bottom of the front cross member for fitment of this plate.
- For use with factory plastic bumpers only
- This system will work with universal adjustable tow bars from Friedl, Draw-Tite, Valley, or Blue Ox.

Installed the tow bar mounting plate on a 2013 JKU Rubicon with 3.5" lift. The instructions are clear and the install went smooth. I was able to do it by myself but I should've asked a friend to help. I modified the logo (removed the center section) to mount the jeep-side female socket dead center. Towing the jeep is smooth and easy with this setup. Using SMI Duo braking system and Blue Ox tow bar. Over the last few months we have towed 6 times east to west across the rockies with no problems.

Will this work on a 2017 Rubicon Hard Rock Edition?
No, it will not. They state for plastic stock front bumpers only, unfortunately.
