Nice upgrade for 93 XJ, many of the new parts (97-01) fit on 86-96.

Does this wiper arm swing up to 90+ degrees from windshield and stay propped up in that position? Unlike the original wiper arms that only pull off the windshield about 30 degrees and don't stay propped up.
It is direct OE and will retain the factory degree lift off the windshield. Sorry we do not offer ones with more range of motion than factory. Thanks for your inquiry.

Does this wiper arm have a hooked end?
Yes it does. The hook is blocked from the angle the photo was taken on this part. Sorry for the confusion.

Will this arm swing up to allow easy blade change and windshield cleaning?
Yes, this is designed and functions like the original arm, it has a spring that hold the wiper tight to the windshield, and can be hinged back for blade change or storage.
