OMIX Short Driver Side Wiper Pivot Reviews
Needed
I'm having the same issue as the person below. Has there been any resolution? I don't like having only 1 windshield wiper and it's impossible to get it inspected without one. Thanks in advance.
This item does NOT work for my 1982 Jeep CJ-8 and probably Most CJ-7's. The splines on this pivot arm are different than the wiper arms that attach to it. I tried two sets of these as well as wiper arms from Omix, Kentrol and Crown. The wiper arm will not fully seat on the splines of the pivot arm. I am uploading a picture to show the difference.
Unless these were a bad batch or Omix releases a new version, don't buy them. I called Omix and they havn't heard of the issue. They are going to pull a set and their wiper arms to test. Also, Quadratec is providing a shipping label and taking them back so I am happy with their service.
