OMIX Heavy Duty Leaf Spring Reviews
Trusted OEM replacement
Perfect replacement for worn out springs! These raised my XJ back to the factory ride height and man, what a difference they made in ride quality.
Service here has been very good. We installed the new springs on the XJ along with Nitro Shocks. The ole 99 is riding much better. It was a bit time consuming to remove the old… I used my grinder to cut them out as needed… saved time and headache. Soak things down with your favorite penetrating juice. And we used heat to get those front eye bolts… get everything out of there down to the bolts and then heat em up and they should come break easy. Go in and out as much as you need to and spray frequently as you do. The installation of the new is easy… it’s the removal of the old that tests you. We used hand tools and got through it. Probably I’d say in total took about 8+ hours… I’ve submitted photos. In the end it’s sitting about +/-2” higher. She looks much better and when I hit some potholes on a dirt road they were hardly noticeable. I can’t speak for longevity at this point but they are a huge improvement especially for the money. I’d do it again… oh and don’t be shy about anti-seize on the install just in case! 247k so far… I wanna get her to 500k!
