Strap didn't fit my 86 CJ7 with 20 gallon poly tank. The shape and length were off. In the end, I cut the strap in half and removed approx 4". I used the extra to bend up a hose retainer like the OEM strap had and welded it back up. It worked out, but more work than I'd hoped for.

This strap does not fit a 20-gallon tank on a CJ7. It is way too long. Since I needed it to get back on the road, we cut this strap to weld the threaded end onto the old strap. However, the threads were flattened and needed to be recut.

Broke before I ever got it tightened . they did replace it with no questions but took 2 weeks to get to me.
