OMIX Air Hose Cleaner Reviews
If you are looking at this part its because your air cleaner to carburetor hose needs replacing. What is unfortunate is the life span of this rubber hose can be measured in weeks. The oxygen in our atmosphere alone is enough to make the rubber expire prematurely. Signs of cracking and splitting will appear after just a few weeks. After a few months the rubber hose will be completely open to the atmosphere. The splits happen at most of the seams in the flex portion of the accordion.
It is the same low quality rubber that omix-ada uses to manufacture their shifter boots. Looks like whoever manufactures these rubber parts for omix-ada have lost the recipe for rubber. Your best bet for anything that will last is to find a generic air duct somewhere unless you want to use this very temporary part. Best of luck to you.
