OMIX 16730.52 Passenger Side Emergency Brake Cable for 04-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited

This is my first review. The passenger side parking brake cable on my 06 LJ split in the middle and Chrysler discontinued these so this was all I was able to find I am giving it 1 star because its nice that an aftermarket company reproduced a discontinued part but it ends there. I had to put vise grips on the end of the cable where it connects to the bracket near the caliper and smack it hard I was not able to get it any other way. the spring is also to long it curls around pretty close to the rubber brake hose. The upper end connection would not fit because there was no gap for the cable to lock into place with so I had to remove the rubber ring to create a gap then bend the clips then after going through the bracket I had to bend the clips outward again and it seems to be holding. I have installed allot of parking brake cables as I have been a professional mechanic for 30 years this one was really bad due to poor quality control
