OMIX Rear Axle Wheel Stud Reviews
Work good. Perfect fit
They’re black, not silver like in the photo, but other than that they worked great to replace several of the stripped out wheel studs in my YJ. I did this project the same time as rebuilding the rear brakes.
Just use some penetrating oil on the existing studs, beat the studs out from the front with a hammer, clean out any rust that might be present in the hub, and put the new ones in. I pulled these thru using an impact wrench and lug nut stacked over some washers, but if you have a press that might work too. If you use an impact wrench, be sure to spin the nuts on by hand first so you don’t accidentally cross-thread them and ruin your new wheel studs!
Anyway, these are great for a YJ like mine running OE rims and lug nuts. All my stuff from OMIX so far has been a lot better quality than what is sold at my local chain auto parts store.
Looks like nice wheel studs, but they did not fit my Jeep Comanche w/ factory Dana 44 rear axle. Same count of splines, but different diameter it seems.
