My 1976 CJ-7 304 V8 with 31K miles axel seal was leaking, so when checking seal, bearing prices I dceided to go with an axel kit, as the labor cost was the same. My mechanic said it was well designed!

I have a 1978 Jepp CJ7 with a 304 and automatic transmission. Will the Omix one piece AMC 20 axle kit fit my vehicle. Not sure what the difference is between this and the narrow

If you have confirmed that your Jeep is equipped with the Quadra-Trac 4 wheel drive unit, then yes this will fit. If you have a standard t-case and axle with a centered drive shaft you need a different kit.

will this hold up to locker running a amc 304 with auto trans 4.11

This would actually be recommended as it eliminates the splines at the wheel that can spin and be ruined. The solid axle is better for torsional strength
