Why is this cover not recommended for use with replacement sailcloth soft tops? Can it be used with original JEEP/MOPAR sail cloth soft tops? Please explain, as I have an original Jeep sail cloth soft top on my 1999 Sahara TJ Wrangler. Is this protective boot OK to be used with this original top? THANKS!
By Mopar standards 2001 was the first year, soft tops went from 23oz Haartz to the 28oz Sailcloth fabric weight. The storage boot is too snug to cleanly fit with sailcloth weight fabric. Sorry.
