Works pretty well but isn't a terribly aggressive cleaner. I found that it works best if you apply liberally, work it in by scrubbing with a brush and let it sit for a few minutes to work. While that's going on, keep it from drying out by misting with your water bottle or hose. Then scrub a little more for good measure and rinse. That will get the worst off, then wash it again after a few days and the top will really look if not like new, then PDG. My blue denim top is about 5 years old and was pretty grungy. It looks very clean and nice after a few applications.
