Skyjacker Transfer Case Lowering Kit Reviews
Didnt go with cv drive shatf, this worked for me,so i have no problems with vibrations
Oh where to begin.. Well to start off with these spacers are exactly 1.5" not 3" as is answered by Quadratec under the questions section. Skyjacker does have larger spacers but not under this part number. The PDF instructions (no hard copy in the box BTW) on the Quadratec product page clearly state your steps in order. Unfortunately (this is not Quadratecs fault because the PDF instructions on Skyjacker product page are basically the same just added pics) these instructions are lacking because they never mention taking off the transfer case linkage before lowering the case. As a result the transfer case linkage bends to a point that makes it unable to come off. You now have to go back and undo everything you did just to get to removing the linkage. In fact there is no mention at all of having to remove the transfer case linkage in the instructions. It goes from installing the spacers directly to installing the transfer case linkage adapter plate but skips the whole part about getting the linkage off to begin with. I guess that's what I get for trusting the instructions without investigating everything first...Frustrating!!
