OMIX Fan Speed Switch Reviews
Wasn't quit sure what was involved to install this product so got on utube checked it out & it was quit easy to install it only took 20 mins. it was a perfect fit & it worked very well, quality product.
I don't recommend this switch... Fitment on my 99 Wrangler was good but, that's about it. Been having problems with it since day one. Bought this item to replace the OEM switch that had lost the 3rd fan speed. While this switch DOES work, often times I have to switch it back and forth or else the fan will shut off completely. When the fan is working, the speeds are too slow. At low speed, you can't even tell any air is moving at all and at high speed, it isn't very strong. Plugging the OEM switch back in considerably increases air movement. And lastly, every time I switch fan speeds, the switch feels like it's going to break! The plastic shaft that connects between the knob and the circuitry is flimsy. You can feel it twisting and torquing.
the 2004 Mopar switch has more "snap" between selections than the new Rugged Ridge switch, I will be replacing with Mopar, I bet, within two years.
