Description
When modifying your Jeep with larger tires or deeper gears the speedometer is often put out of calibration. Rugged Ridge pinion gears easily put the speedometer back to it's factory settings allowing you to know your correct speed and mileage. Easy and quick to install in the transfer case tail housing, don't forget a new O-Ring to prevent leaks after the swap!

1992 YJ Sahara. I'm confused as to which of the 2 types of gears to choose from. Either this one: Long Shaft, or the Short Shaft version. My YJ does NOT have a speedo cable, just the three wire connection and setup / attachment into the transfer case housing. Please let me know which I should choose (long or short).
According to the year, you are in the correct place, on the other hand according to your description you should use the short shaft gear. To guarantee the correct fit you will have to pull what you have for comparison.
