The rotating billet aluminum nose cone versions can be rotated in 20-degree increments to allow for better header clearance & protection from the heat. Provides 35,000 trouble-free torque filled starts compared to the average of 5,000 starts per stock unit. Amperage draw is less than a stock starter. Features heavy-duty construction and provides extreme performance and reliability with a total of 5 sealed ball bearings to keep out water. Stainless steel main shafts provide direct line engagement.

Mean Green Starter Reviews
The housing on mine shattered after two years, as in other review(s), its not worth it. Housing clearly less stout construction than the OEM starter.
Got 17 years out of the stock starter and 2.5 years out of the Mean Green. Not worth the $
