Did not make a good seal, water would get in when it rained. (1996 jeep Cherokee)

This weatherstripping is not as thick as factory. Bought two to replace my 2000 Cherokee front doors. The passenger side went in after cutting it a few inches. There's no noticeable gap between the door and strip but if it rains hard enough a few drops will get in. The drivers side wasn't even close. Factory strip has no gap. Having this installed allowed for a 1/4 gap between strip and door. Pulled it out and put back the factory stripping. I guess I got what I paid for. Saving up for factory weather-stripping instead. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
