The Crown shifter knob kit for the Dana 300 transfer case is a very nice quality shifter knob. I found the insert very easy to insert. I had purchased this shifter knob kit by Crown for my Dana 300 transfer case but at the time the Crown shifter knob kit for my T176 Transmission was out of stock so I had to purchase the Omix shifter knob kit. What a difference between the two the Crown shifter knob kit is a much nicer more realistic softer rubber than the Omix which is a more harder rubber and the insert is very difficult to insert in the Omix and once you do get it inserted it spins around in the knob. If at all possible purchase the Crown shifter knob kits for all your shifter knobs and not the Omix. The Crown is a much nicer quality.
