Crown Automotive J5359457 Input Bearing Retainer Seal for 80-02 Jeep Models with NP219, NP208, NP228, NP229 or NP242 Transfer Case or T176, T177 Transmission

This is the input shaft seal at the front of the transmission that sit inside the tube that the release bearing slides on. It was a pain finding in the ax15 parts blowout but was a perfect match.

Used this on the input shaft for an NP242 transfer case. I left the aluminum retaining ring on the case and fished the old seal out with a seal puller after carefully drilling a hole in it. No leaks with this new one.
