Description
The Complete Exhaust Kit from Crown Automotive is for YJ Wranglers with the 2.5L engine. Crown has included all of the parts necessary to put a new, sealed exhaust system under your Jeep. With strict emissions standards, it is important to have a properly sealed system, otherwise your YJ isn't performing to its full potential. A rusty exhaust can also be very noisy inside and outside of the cab. Crown has designed this system after the original, so all oxygen sensor ports are where they need to be to retain emissions controls.

CARB Notice

  • Legal in California, or other states adopting California emissions standards, only for racing vehicles that may never be used, registered or licensed for use, upon a highway. Can not be shipped to California residents.

Perfect fit! All the pipes were bent without the crinkles at the bends which was a concern looking at the product pictures. The kit was short one clamp, and another was a 2” and would not fit. Also I had to trim off about 2” - 3” off the CAT to make it fit inside the muffler. Overall a great product.

What header will work with this kit

Is the Crown Automotive 52018177K exhaust kit California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved?
Yes, it is
Just received this product. The product description says all parts necessary. The picture does only show two clamps, but the setup requires 3. I received two clamps. Am I missing a part? Or is there instructions for this? Was I supposed to reuse parts?
Fro the factory, the clamps are only required and installed on the flanges that connect direct to the cat. The tail pipe slips on but does not use a clamp since it is after the emissions and resonator.
