Flowkooler 1745 FLOKOOLER Water Pump for 87-90 Jeep Wrangler YJ with V-Belt on 2.5L I-4 or 4.2L I-6 Engine
FlowKooler water pumps solve low-speed overheating problems by doubling the water flow rate at low RPM & idle. At 3,500 RPM the flow rate returns to normal to prevent excess water flow at high speed. Independent testing has proven that FlowKooler water pumps produce 20% more gallons per minute at 2000 RPM and 100% more gallons per minute at 900 RPM than any other pump on the market today, including expensive racing pumps. FlowKooler pumps also generate 22% more water pressure inside the engine block than other water pumps. This increased pressure helps suppress engine hot spots, steam pockets, and pinging. In addition to higher output, the FlowKooler water pump is up to 32% more efficient than other pumps, meaning less horse power is required to turn it. The result is overall lower operating temperature by as much as 30 degrees when cruising at low speeds. All pumps are brand new (not rebuilt) and are covered by a lifetime warranty.
Please Note: V-Belt is sold separate and NOT included in this kit.

Flowkooler Water Pump Reviews
I had problems with my old Jeep overheating when the AC was on, and I could never run it in summer when driving slow. I just could not run AC on hot days, and I live in the Tucson desert, its always hot. I installed this pump on my 87 Wrangler in 2005. For the last 5 years and about 20,000 miles it has worked great, it lets me use AC in 115° + and I have never overheated again with the AC on, even driving up mountains at 4 MPH in 115°. And I swear it is true. I also use Waterwetter and the high flow thermostat the recommended, and I think that also helped. I just wanted to let people know I went from not driving the old Jeep in mid summer, to driving it all summer with AC on full. My truck broke down last week and I had to drive the Jeep all week, it was over 110° every day this week and in stop and go traffic with AC on, no more over heating. So I am very happy and for once something works like advertised.
