Mishimoto Performance Fan Shroud Kit with NPT Sensor Reviews
This fan did not cool as well as stock fan. I have pulled it off and reinstalled the stock setup. Air flow was very low.
Unfortunately, this product is seriously misrepresented as a “performance” item. After installing the fan, my 2005 LJ it stared running hotter and because of the insufficient air flow I was unable to use my air conditioning. When four wheeling and climbing a slight grade in moderate weather the fan was unable to cool the engine and it would overheat. On the highway, under moderate loads, the fan was unable to sufficiently cool the engine, and don’t even think about tuning on the A/C. After a month or so, I switched back to the stock mechanical fan and all my issues were resolved. Quadratec graciously accepted my return, and because of that I will continue to shop there. This product should be removed from the catalog.
