Description
These new Black Mil Spec (MIL-B-3060E) Ammunition Cans are the same style boxes as our original storage cans, and also being used by U.S. and NATO forces around the globe. They have hundreds of uses around the home, garage, shop, range and trails, and now feature a locking tab to keep your valuables safe! The sturdy galvanized steel construction and weather tight seals provide excellent storage for tools, chains, family photos, electronics or anything you want to keep safe and dry. The 7.62mm, 50 caliber, and Fat 50 boxes are 21 gauge metal and feature hinged lids with over center latches on one end. The 40mm box is 18 gauge metal and features over center latches on both ends. I modified these cans to be saddlebags on my Harley, and they work great. Even after drilling holes to fit bolts, they still get an air tight seal. Obviously saddlebags aren't their intended purpose, but they've proven reliable. I accidentally left one unlatched, then rode 4 miles before realizing it, and the lid was still attached! You can't even pick up mil-spec ammo cans unlatched without the lid falling off.

The ammo boxes came in black just as requested, everything is just fine with em.
